Lost Boy - Haiti Production Stills

Lost Boy - Haiti Production Stills

2 weeks ago I travelled to Mirebalais, Haiti with our friends from Daylight Breaks as a Co-Director/Shooter on their upcoming doco "The Lost Boy - Journey of the Haitian Footsoldier". What a place! We were following the story of Haitian/Australian, Jonas Rasmussen, as he reconnected with his Haitian culture and family having been removed at the age of 6 through adoption. It was a wonderful fortnight with lots of challenges, but we came away with some awesome looking footage and some really engaging content. Stay tuned for more info on this one over the coming months. In the meantime here's some stills from the trip. - SB

Renaissance Man - SBS 2 Pilot

Renaissance Man - SBS 2 Pilot

I was recently engaged by Wonderland Pictures to direct a pilot for SBS 2 called Renaissance Man. The show will follow the trials and tribulations of gonzo journalist Peter Petersen as he attempts to discover what it takes to become a true renaissance man in the modern era.

We captured some truely hilarious moments as our fictional character PP found himself in the real life situation of learning Dancehall and having to perform a daggering routine at Melbourne's premiere dancehall event - I Heart Dancehall.

It was an absolute pleasure to team up with long time LF collaborators and team members Bayden Findlay and Matt Horne and of course the rest of the production team from Wonderland.

Fingers crossed that it's picked up. - SB
